Amateur Painting Event, Biberach.
Invitation from Biberach to all its Partner Towns
As part of the English Week (7th - 17th Oct 2011) and the 20th anniversary of our twinning with Tendring District we will be staging an amateur painting event at the beginning of October.
Anyone who loves painting, be it landscape, architecture or anything else, is invited to take part. The only restriction is in the type of materials used. In order to keep luggage to a minimum only watercolours or acrylics will be allowed. The artists are invited to show their impressions of Biberach and the surrounding area, the aim being that the paintings complement the photo exhibition in the Town Hall, as the artists’ pictures will be exhibited alongside the photos in the Town Hall foyer.
Preliminary timetable:
4/10/2011 Arrival of participants 5/10/2011 Guided Tour of the Museum
6/10/2011 Guided Tour of the town and painting at the College of FE or out of doors
7/10/2011 painting at the College of FE or out of doors
8/10/2011 opening of the exhibition
9/10/2011 departure or possible extension to stay on for the English Week

Herzliche Einladung an alle Partnerstädte
Im Rahmen der englischen Woche (7.-17. Okt. 2011) und des 20jährigen Jubiläums mit dem Tendring District veranstalten wir Anfang Oktober ein Amateurpainting-Event.
Angesprochen ist jeder, der gerne malt, sei es Landschaft, Architektur oder andere Themen.
Es gibt keine Vorgaben für die Technik, die einzige Beschränkung ist bei der Wahl der Malmittel.
Um das Gepäck gering zu halten, empfiehlt es sich, sich auf Aquarell- oder Acrylfarben zu beschränken.
Passend zur Fotoausstellung im Rathaus sollten die Gemälde die Eindrücke wiedergeben, die die Künstler von Biberach und Umgebung haben.
Die Ergebnisse dieser Zusammenkunft von Amateur Künstler werden neben der Foto Ausstellung im Rathaus Foyer zu bewundern sein.

05.10.2011 Museumsführung mit Besichtigung des Malateliers u. malen (VHS oder im Freien)
