News from Biberach - Oct 2013
Guernsey Friends, here is some news from Biberach;
We are already planning for 2015.
Guernsey Week will take place in the autumn, as in 2009, when we hope to see plenty of friends from Guernsey. Although we haven’t heard anymore about plans for the Guernsey Young Ambassadors and their next trip, wouldn’t this make a wonderful highlight to Guernsey Week 2015?
As 2015 will also see the 70th anniversary of Liberation Day, we hope that between 25 - 30 people from Biberach will travel to Guernsey for 9th May. An early question - will it be possible to find accommodation for such a group?
Something totally different - there is a lady from Biberach who is keen to combine a holiday to Guernsey with an English-speaking course. Does anyone have ideas or contacts to help her (please reply via the contact form)?
Finally, our Christmas Market is now not too far away. It runs from 30 Nov until 15 Dec. We would love to see some visitors from Guernsey, if anyone wanted getting into the festive spirit a little early! Otherwise, the market can be viewed online at http://www.marktplatzcam.mybiberach.de
